She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Mindham and Clara Brown-Leigh; her husband Roger J. Bakken; and her brothers, Billy, Danny, David and Matthew.

She is survived by: her children, R. J. Bakken and Debbie Keo (Kamsath); her grandchildren, Kaden, Jeremy and Brittany; her brothers, Derwin Leigh, Richard Leigh, Randy Leigh (Tina) and Michael; and her cousin Diane Collins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
