He is survived by: his spouse Kristi Schultz; his sons, Austin (Jordyn Mathison) and Gehrick; his mother Sharon; his brothers, Brad (Kathie), Brian, Brett (Amy), Kelly Vembu (Rajan) and Rose Schultz; his sisters-in-law, Laura Acker (Brad), Samantha Vembu-Moerkerke (Trevor) and Anna Vembu Julian (Samuel); and his nephews, Alex Tarkenton (Devan Bertz) and Paul Tarkenton. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
