He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester and Helen; his father-in-law Allen Westerbeke; and his brothers, Stuart Johnson (Delores), James Johnson (Sandra) and Theodore Johnson.
He is survived by: his former wife Susan Westerbeke; his wife Susie; his sons, David, Matthew (Kathleen) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Mariah (Travis), Jacob, Elijah, Josiah, Annaliese, Cecilia and Lucas; his great grandchild Ava Marie; his sister Marie Uttech; his siblings-in-law, Janet Johnson, Bob and Bill Westerbeke (Vicki); and his mother-in-law Nelda Westerbeke.
