In loving memory of Robert H. Walvoort (Oostburg, Wisconsin), who departed this world on November 10, 2024 at the age of 96. Robert leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Walvoort and Elsie Walvoort (Rushton); his wife Lillian Dekker; his son-in-law Kevin Kroese; his brothers, Glenn Walvoort (Nancy) and George Walvoort (Lennis); and his siblings-in-law, Kathryn Otte (Henry), Jane Boerkoel (BJ), Peter Dekker (Lillian) and Warren Prinsen.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Covel (Dennis) of Wichita, KS, Marjorie "Marge" Faber (Lyle) of Escondido, CA, Sandra Westra (Gary) of Hull, IA, Ronald (Lynn) of Oostburg, Kenneth (Judy) of Sioux Center, IA and Robert A. Walvoort (Shara) of Oostburg; his grandchildren, Levi (Christina), Luke (Kim), Aaron (Jessica), Reuben Faber (Kyla), Katie Wieringa (Brian), Andrew (Samantha), Jane, Ben Kroese, Garrett (Jackie), Adrianna Ganz (Luke), Richard (Brianna), Timothy Walvoort (Oliv), Peter Walvoort (Brianna), Amy Jensema (Jeremy), Jessica Wanninger (Stephen), Anthony (Smaranda), Shana, Camber, Monet and Lincoln Walvoort; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Prinsen of Cedar Grove. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Reformed Church (216 S 7th St, Oostburg, WI 53070). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Pine Haven Christian Home.
