It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry J Kruis of Oostburg, Wisconsin, born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sr. Kruis and Anna Kruis (Den Boer); his wife Fran; his siblings, Herman, Lester, Jake and Lillian; and his siblings-in-law, Mildren Kruis, Lavon Kruis, Caroline Kruise, Orville Erickson, Robert Staley, Eugene "Hector" Brusse and Richard Brusse.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Kruis of Oostburg and Jan Ziegler (Thomas) of Sheboygan; his grandchildren, Dawn Anderson (Don), James Ziegler, Nathaniel Forward, Tiffany Forward and Shannon Kruis; his sisters, Marion Staley, Betty Erickson of Sheboygan, La Verne Soerens (Elwood) of Sheboygan Falls and Irene Schmitt (Don) of Sheboygan; and his sisters-in-law, Molly Brusse of Oostburg and Ruth Kruis of Sheboygan Falls. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons.
