He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry J. Roerdink and Adelaide Roerdink; his wife Carol Roerdink; his children, Sandra Teunissen (Henry), James Roerdink (Penny), Brenda Stecker (Lonnie), Julie Tayloe, JoAnn Newman (Curtis) and Eric Roerdink (Kristen Otterson); his brother-in-law David Gabrielse (Helen); his sister Marjorie Liebelt; and his nephew Gary Liebelt. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is established for the Oostburg Christian School and the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund.
