He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Smies and Anne Smies (Roerdink); and his son-in-law Steve TenDolle. He is survived by: his wife Donna; and his children, Ann Dolfin (Jim), Wendy TenDolle and Jack Smies (Mandy). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Christian Reformed Church (216 S 7th St, Oostburg, WI 53070). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
