He is survived by: his wife Jill Edinger; his children, Julia Payne, Benjamin Schilling (Rebekah), Daniel Schilling (Katherine), Maria Boeckers (Eric), Johanna Brahm (Adam), Stephen Schilling, Susanna Boeckers (Kurt) and John Schilling; his uncle Lyle Schoenfeld; his siblings, Gary Schilling (Jody), Steven Schilling, Brian Thimmig (Teresa) and Carrie Lisch (Thomas); and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Crombie (Richard) and Karen Pickering (William). He is also survived by twenty grandchildren.
