He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Mellenthin and Marion Mellenthin (Frome); and his siblings, Dale Mellenthin and Dawn Mellenthin. He is survived by: his wife Berna Jo; his children, Jereme Mellenthin (Emily) of Cleveland, OH, Sabrina Weidner (Micah) of Oostburg, WI, Lindsay Cortes (Isaac) of Monterrey, MX and Michael Mellenthin (Codi) of Colorado Springs, CO; and his grandchildren, Arabella, Phineas, Elijah, Lydia, Esther, Malachi, Mateo, Perla, Natalia, Nikolai, Patrick and Sophia. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to be given to The Gathering Place.
