She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hopeman and Esther Hopeman (Wilterdink); her children, Kenneth VerVelde, Deborah VanDeWege (Don) and Robert VerVelde; her father-in-law Edward VerVelde (Mildred Oonk); her stepmother-in-law Dorothy VerVelde (Wingert Oonk); her siblings, Jean Hopeman, Jane Smies (Andrew) and David W. Hopeman (Mary); and her brother-in-law Wayne VerVelde (Constance).
She is survived by: her husband Lyle "Duff" VerVelde; her daughter Lynn Walford (Randall); her grandchildren, Amy Spellich (Shawn), Jon VanDeWege (Holli), Matthew VanDeWege (Kim), Chad VerVelde, Dane VerVelde, Justin VerVelde (Melissa), Spencer VerVelde (Sarah Meier), Jasmine Verbrigghe (Shawn) and Alexander Walford (Alyssa); her great grandchildren, Kenneth Spellich (Chris), Benjamin Spellich (Brooke), Nicholas Spellich (Justice), Caden, Ethan, Grace VanDeWege, Elise, Case, Christian, Adelynn, Crew, Ivy VanDeWege, Gavin VerVelde, Kenlee Smies, Owen, Tanner VerVelde, Emerson and Isabelle Walford; her great great grandchildren, Colten, Chloe Spellich, Everleigh and Shepard Spellich; her sister Harriet Jensema (Calvin); and her sisters-in-law, Diane Oonk and Mary Jo Oonk. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
