He was predeceased by: his daughters, Dawn and Jody; and his siblings, Clyde, Raymond, Roy, George Jr., Kenneth, Max, Herbert Downing and Glida Melby (Downing).
He is survived by: his friend Joyce Dunwald; his spouse Joyce; his children, David Downing (Coleen) of Verona, WI, Phylis Dalldorf of Camanche, IA and Kathryn Nasseth (William) of Stoddard, WI; his sister Dorothy "Dot" Mossholder of Dell, WI; his grandchildren, Troy Downing (Karla), Tonia Bastian (Tony), Amy Stuart, Ethan Dalldorf and Evan Dalldorf; and his great grandchildren, Travis, Nathan, Ryan, Mackenzie, Payton and Piper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
