It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen K. Parker of Ontario, Wisconsin, born in Monroe, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Kundert and Ethel Kundert (Lichtenwalner); her daughter Elizabeth Anne; her adoptive parents, Alfred and Gretta; her parents-in-law, Vincent and Floragene Parker; her brother Gary Kundert; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn "Sis" Kundert and Mary Kundert.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Parker; her daughters, Sarah Parker of Ontario and Megan Espe (Troy) of Stevens Point, Wis.; her siblings, Marian Lichtenwalner (Alvin Whitaker) of Waterloo, Harley of Monroe, Keith (Linda) of Monroe, Kenneth Kundert (Donna) of Monroe, Donald Kundert and Ark; and her sisters-in-law, Marguerite Kundert, Kathy Andres and Linda Parker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She raised thousands in donations and grants for new playground equipment, interpretive signs, and trees and flowers.
