He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rumppe and Crystabel Rumppe (Jacobus); his siblings, Mertie Beier (Lawrence), Fern Conant (Max), Alfred Rumppe (Darlene), Mildred Anderson (Howard), Harold Rumppe, Robert Rumppe (Mary), Earl Rumppe, Jr., Arlene Orethun (Alonzo "Nuck"), Darlene Hanson (Gerald "Sonny") and Alice Seddon; and his nephew David Larson.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Job of Delavan, WI and Mark VanRumppe (Peggy) of Brecksville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mark Baker (Becky), Jacob Job, Jordan Job (Christina), Ethan VanRumppe and Ella VanRumppe; his great grandchildren, Sean, Zachery and Levi Baker; his former wife Shirley Boerst of Tomah; his sisters-in-law, Doana Rumppe and Eileen Rumppe; and also, Lori Kaul (Gerald) of Burlington, Mandy Hornyak (Levi), Chase Robertson (Dawn), Michael Larson of Kendall, Michael Larson Jr., Megan Larson, Jimmy Larson (Mara), Gary Larson (Karen) of Oshkosh, Mindy McGregor (Ian), Jessi DeVine (Micheal), Janet Larson of Burlington, Marshall (Rachelle), Nathan (Emily Burrell) and Tucker (Whitney). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Frank benefitted from the cutting-edge care provided by Mayo Clinic and in a final act of pragmatism, he donated his body to them for further research.
