He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Irma Olson; and his siblings-in-law, Lyle Olson (Mildred) and Phyllis Larson (Elton). He is survived by: his wife Ardys; his child Gail Ambro (John) of Sparta; his grandsons, Paul Ambro (Bethany Arnold) of Sparta and Daniel Downing (Cindy) of Sparta; his great grandchildren, Garett Downing (Mackinzie Schaffer-Smiley) of Sparta and Karlie Downing of Sparta; and his niece Judy Pomeroy (Don). He is also survived by many cousins and other loving relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bredlow- Ewing American Legion Post #467, Ontario.
