He is survived by: his sister Maxine Roberts (Elm); the mothers of children, Marlene Welsrock (Silas) and Mildred Schuman (Tinker); his children, Robin Rice, Richard Elm, Renee Elm, Teresa Elm (Mitchel) and Robert Elm; and his close friend Patricia Crocker.
