He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Sauvey and Alice Sauvey (LaBelle); his wives, Kathryn Gard and Sandra Sauvey; and his siblings, James Norman, Donald R. Sauvey, Dorothy G. Byrnes (Joseph), Mary Rose Vanderheiden (Vincent), Lucille C. Roix (Eugene) and Rita A. Wery (Elmer).
He is survived by: his children, Raymond A. Sauvey (Julie), David R Sauvey (Marian), Dr. Mary A. Sauvey, Susan F. Hahn (Douglas), Paul J. Sauvey (Marie), Steven T. Sauvey (Barbara) and Ann V. Breitenbach (Scott); and his stepchildren, Patrick J. Burke (Nancy) of Green Bay, WI, John S. Burke (Tracy Alpert) of Green Bay, WI, David Burke of Green Bay, WI, Lynn M. Hennighausen (Rick) and Davidson. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren and step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He served as Chairman of the Foundation that raised and invested public funds for the Board and was cited for substantially increasing the investment performance of the Foundation.
