He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Powless and Madelyn Skenandore (Stevens); and his stepfather Henry R. Skenandore. He is survived by: his close friend Fran Weaver; his children, Shawn Dessart (Summer), Kody Smith, Kendra Mahan (David) and Matiius "Moontiius" Benton; his grandchildren, Lotatenikuhlak and Yahonahaliyo; and his siblings, George Powless (Heather) and Kim. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riverview Baptist Church (216 N Main St, Seymour, WI 54165). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
