She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sr. House and Ethel House (Charles); her in-laws, Lloyd and Jean Smits; her son Robert "Bob" Smits; her siblings, Diane Theisen (Bob), Richard House, George "Bruce" House and Jerry House; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Rottier, Gerald Metoxen, Paul Smits and Thomas Rasmussen.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Smits; her son Joe (Diane Wilson); and her granddaughter Brooke Smits (Daniel Peters). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
