He is survived by: his children, Mark Denning, Valicia "Lisa" Vega (Rick) and Vanita "Vanny" Wheelock; his grandchildren, Ahsan Vega, Kemewan Wheelock, Sapatis Menomin, Mesaen Wheelock, Neset Vega and Be-Wab; and his siblings, Erma Denny and Eldon Wheelock. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
