He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; and his children, Bonnie Nicholas-Marlewski (Ernie), Geraldine Danforth (Joseph), Frank Nicholas (Cher), John Melchert (Shirley), Laurie Melchert, Milton Melchert (Rebecca) and Charlotte Skenandore.
