He is survived by: his mother Ruth Melchert (Metoxen); his siblings, Patsy Beaulieu (John "Jeb"), Harvey Melchert Jr. (Sue), Kitty Melchert, Bonnie Tassoul (Kevin), Tony Melchert, Adam Melchert (Karen) and Alvin Melchert (Amanda); and his brother-in-law Edgar Blackbull Sr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
