It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willis Fernholz (Onalaska, Wisconsin), born in Arcadia, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 20, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Fernholz and Clotilda "Sally" Fernholz (Haines); his wife Charlotte Jane Schaffner; his son Harley; and his siblings, Cleon "Choker" Fernholz and Carol Zepp.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Behrens (Joel), Wanda Thorson (Ken) and Kate Squier (Mark); and his grandchildren, Brandon Behrens (Jodi), Breanna Martin (Scott), Libby Thorson (Erik Kahl) and Ben Squier (Ashley). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Guests are asked to wear a mask or facial covering and to be mindful of social distancing guidelines while in attendance. Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no luncheon served.
