Welch and Katherine Welch (Stangl); his wife Mary Funke; his grandfather Bluff; his children, William, Jr. Welch (Catherine), Michael Welch (Bonnie) of Boca Raton, FL, Mary Lee (Patrick) of Holmen, WI and Patricia Welch (Daniel Walker); his grandchildren, William Welch (Samantha) of Milwaukee, WI, Melissa Welch of Gainesville, FL, Michael II Welch (Youko) of Santee, CA, Thad Lee of Alma, CO and Jessica Lee (Brady Bornhauser); his great grandchild Luka Bornhauser of Onalaska, WI; his sister-in-law Mercedes Welch; his brother Donald Welch; and his nephews, Timothy, Terrance Welch and Funke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to; St Joseph the Workman Cathedral, Aquinas Catholic Schools or the Western Technical College Foundation.
