It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verona Helming of Onalaska, Wisconsin, born in Plymouth, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Spradau and Elvera Spradau (Boldt); her husband Calvin Helming; her son Stephen Paul Helming; and her sisters, Barbara Brannen and Nancy Spradau.
She is survived by: her sons, Calvin, Jr. of West Salem, WI and John Helming (Patty); her grandson Stephen Helming (Tiffany Everson); her great grandchildren, Calvin and Tolena of West Salem, WI; her grandsons, Sam Helming (Victoria) of La Crosse and Tim Helming (Jill) of Onalaska, WI; her great grandchildren, T. J. of La Crosse and Ben Helming (Jess) of Madison, WI; her grandson Pete Helming of St. Paul, MN; her brothers, Dick Spradau of Plymouth, WI and Ralph Spradau (Tina) of Wentzville, MO; and her brother-in-law Lester Brannen (Bonnie) of Jackson, MS. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
