He was predeceased by: his parents, Lauritz Wittenberg and Frances Wittenberg (Rice). He is survived by: his siblings, Kay Jacobs (Mike) of Brice Prairie, Nancy Bushek (Don) of Plymouth, MN, Dale Wittenberg (Emily) of Palatine, IL and Scott Wittenberg of Onalaska. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
