He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Luehne and Charlotte Luehne (Dobrunz); his parents-in-law, Edward and Corinne McCoy (Loughan); his siblings, William, Raymond, Leonard, Roland, James and Marian Deal; and his brother-in-law Donald McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Michael (Crystal) and Karen (Stephen Multer) of Chicago, IL.; and his grandchildren, Alexander Luehne, Julia Multer and Avery Multer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
