It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven G. Ruud (Onalaska, Wisconsin), born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ruud and Violet Ruud (Radtke); and his siblings, Patricia and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Papenfuss; his sisters, Signe Melbo (Shawn) and Kathryn Ruud; his sister-in-law Lois Zenke (Duane); his nieces and nephews, Jon Melbo, Lisa, Tim, Brian, Kirstin Hall, Erica Weaver (Sean), Kevin (Connie), Hoyt (Cheryl), Travis (Kathy), Barry Zenke (Cindy) and Letty Hornberg (Ray); his great-niece Madeline; and his sons, Harald Ihler (Karin), Elling Sjetland, Alan Tangen (Jacqueline) and Thomas Refsland (Nila).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or Coulee Region Humane Society.
