He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Rand and Eileen Rand; his wife Patty; his grandchildren, Brianna, Ethan, Maggie, Ben, Connor, Ruby, Brady and Aubrey; and his siblings, John Rand (Deb), Tom Rand (Jackie), Mike Rand (Jean), Bob Rand (Joyce) and Kathy Snyder (David). He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
