She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Nelson and Doris Nelson (Rank); her husband Bernard J. Shuda; and her siblings, Viola Chelsey, Alice Christopherson, Mervin, Lorn, Leland, Melvin, Bill, Arnold, Alfred and Alvin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Haydon (Charles) of Lake Forest and Renee Druliner (Bill) of Holmen; her siblings, Doris Thrall (Jerry) of Golden Valley, Ada Kjos (Ray) of Rushford and Milford Nelson (Joanne) of Decorah; and her grandsons, Steve Haydon (Cambria), Scott Haydon (Jessica), Andrew Bashaw (Erin), Eric Bashaw (Deb), David Bashaw (Clare Peter) and Bill Druliner (Jessica). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed toward the Alzheimer's association or the American Diabetes Association.
