It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley May Bryhn of Onalaska, Wisconsin, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Oslie and Mary Oslie (Emerson); her husband Myron Bryhn; and her siblings, Donald, Robert, Dennis and Ramona.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Rasmussen (Fritz) of Brownsville, MN; her grandchild Krocka; her siblings, Juanita Haag (Obbie) of Onalaska, Richard Oslie (Sherry) of Melrose and Michael Oslie (Kelly) of Galesville; her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Westlie of Trempealeau, Gen Bryhn of Ettrick, Karen Knutson (Jim) of La Crosse, Marla Onsrud of Trempealeau, Julie Hanssen (David) of La Crosse, Ruth Oslie of Winona, MN. and Steven Bryhn (Vicky) of Kasson, MN; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Stella Bryhn; her siblings-in-law, Gloria Oslie, Arvid Bryhn, Henry Onsrud, Eugene Knutson, Larry Bryhn and Gordon Haag; her niece Stacy Borchardt; and her nephew Anthony Knutson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She volunteered at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and (RSVP) Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, and was very involved in the Moose Lodge, becoming the Senior Regent for the La Crosse Chapter #1526 in 2008.
