She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Hammerschmidt and Malitta Hammerschmidt; and her brother James. She is survived by: her children, John (Becky), Tim (Kathy) and Jorié LePlavy (David); her grandchildren, Joe (Dannielle), Anna (Alex), Tess and Andrew (McKenzie); and her great grandchildren, Easton, Emerson, Hayden, Benjamin and Grayson. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (4141 Mormon Coulee Rd, La Crosse, WI 54601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed toward Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church–Holman Youth Fund.
