She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Fortney; her grandson Cody George; and her parents-in-law, Borghild, Milfred Burkum, Thomas, Alice Olson, Arnold Olson, Melvin, Myra Olson, Lillian, Peder Pedersen, Leona Dregne (Irvin), Jeanette and Fay McDaniel.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Fortney (Lorraine) of Gays Mills, WI, Phyllis Haugland (Gary) of La Crosse, WI, Diane Fortney (Greg Bakkestuen) and John Fortney; her brother-in-law Irvin Dregne of Viroqua, WI; her grandchildren, Wendy Wright (Scott), Aaron Fortney (Nicole), Justin Fortney (Rita), Britt Drake (Mark), Hans Haugland (Jessica Kaufmann), Leif Haugland (Elizabeth Lieder), Torre Kramer (Steve), Sheena George (Tyler Halverson), Taylor Gjefle (Joe), Shane Bakkestuen, Tiffany Copus (Rich) and Michelle Brown (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Drew King (Anastasia), Luke, Lydon, Cayden Wright, Kayla Noel (Bob), Hunter Fortney, Lincoln, Elliott Drake, Abigail, Evelyn Kramer, Sophia George, Havyn Gjefle, James, Joe, Alice Lieder, Marigh, Amber Bakkestuen, Logan Turben, Devin Brown, Alycen, Mariah, Iziah Copus, Ian, Hadley and Nadia Brown. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
