He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franks and Mary Evelyn Franks (McMenimen); his wife Ann Giellis; his sister Dolores Ann Kramer; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Pederson, Jay Kopp, Justin Kramer and Roger Pederson.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Jane Kopp (Giellis) of Asbury, IA. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
