He is survived by: his wife Cheryl O'Connell; his children, Carissa Moore (Lawrence) of Mauston, Skylar Newman of Onalaska and Derek Newman (Kelsey) of Holmen; his granddaughter Kennedy; and his siblings, Darlene Johnson (Ted) of Onalaska, Linda Stickler (Rick) of La Crosse, Marjorie Shaw (Steve), Rodney Newman of Holmen, Glen Newman (Doris) of Arizona, Dale Newman of Texas and Douglas Newman (Diane) of Texas.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
