Philip Varnum Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2022, at the age of 72, Philip Varnum of Onalaska, Wisconsin, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Varnum and Mary Varnum (Johnston); his brother George Varnum (Andy); and his mother-in-law Patricia A. Peterson. He is survived by: his former wife Valerie Stelloh; his son Seth Philip (Sara) of White Fish, MT; his wife Sue Welscher; his children, Dawn Staige (Casey) of Holmen, WI, Joshua P. Welscher (Meghan O'Connor) of Chicago, IL and Melissa K. Ridolfo (Shade) of Trempealeau, WI; his grandchildren, Asha Monique Boayue, Myles Dean Boayue, Coral Rose Ridolfo, Kegan Philip Ridolfo, Rafe Arthur Ridolfo, Zephyr Gary Ridolfo, Kayla Priebe, Amanda Staige, Brooklyn Staige, Read Lyons, Braiden Lyons and Trista Lyons; his siblings, Elizabeth Pordon of Southfield, MI, Mary Ruth Varnum (Mike Bromley) of Plymouth, IA and William Varnum (Susan) of Onalaska; and his siblings-in-law, Unja Varnum of Holmen, Patricia Peterson of La Crosse and Paul Peterson (Renee) of Ogden, Utah. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
