Michael Stanek Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2022, at the age of 74, Michael Stanek (Onalaska, Wisconsin), born in La Crosse, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wenzel Stanek and Helen Stanek (Trehus). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Leisgang (Leisgang); his daughters, Melissa Copps (Stephen) of La Crosse and Gina Hanzel (Bradley) of Jordan, MN; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katherine Copps, William and Henry Hanzel.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Wenzel "Blackie" Stanek Scholarship Fund at Western Technical College.
