He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Leisso and Esther Leisso (Schlicht); his brother William Leisso (Bill); his niece Rochelle Hartman; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Barlau and Marc Hogden.

He is survived by: his wife A. J. Hogden (Anola); his stepson Jeffrey Urbanek; his stepgrandson Peter Urbanek; his siblings, Diane Barlau of Delano, MN and David Leisso (Nancy) of Cashton, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Beth Hogden (L. B.) and Sandra Leisso. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
