She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Guy F. Wakefield and Dorothy R. Wakefield; and her husband Rodney L. Schellpfeffer. She is survived by: her daughters, Jody Every (Queak) of La Crosse and Jacqueline Bixby (Rodney) of Neillsville; her sister Paula Ristow (Rodney); her grandchildren, Julie Weller (Karl), Ryan Koenig and Lucas Koenig; and her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Kora and Katie Weller.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, donations to La Crescent Animal Rescue in her honor would be preferred.
