She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Balmer and Mary Balmer; her former husband Fritz; her son Karl; her son-in-law Robert Cohen; her in-laws, Hans and Isabelle Zoerb; her sister-in-law Gloria Zoerb; and her nephew Kevin Zoerb.
She is survived by: her husband Frederic Zoerb; her children, Kären and Kurt; her grandchildren, Rachael Zoerb Guerkink (Bill), Aaron Cohen, Alexandra Cohen Poylov (Vasya), Ian Zoerb and Arianna Cohen; her great grandchildren, Sean, Liam Guerkink, Sofia, Arthur and Alexa Poylov; and also, John Zoerb, Richard and Margaret Ann Zoerb. She is also survived by many beautiful nieces and nephews, family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials in Louise's name to La Crosse Family & Children's Center, First Lutheran Church – Onalaska or a charity of your choosing.
