He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hunter and Florence Hunter (Fitzwater); his wife Theresa Knepper; his brother Norman; his sister-in-law Iris; his stepmother Mary; and his stepsiblings, Paul, Claire, Marianne and Irene.
He is survived by: his daughters, Florence Hunter (Mike Malles), Sharon Bulawa (Paul), Janet McClanahan (Mike), Heather Poss (Steve) and Holly Wilber (Pete Lewis). He is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
