He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Shepard and Virgina Shepard (Gardner); his wife Karen R. Trautsch; and his sister Alene Peterson of La Crosse. He is survived by: his children, Angela Mutch (Steven) of Onalaska and Gregory Shepard of Waukesha; his grandchildren, Erica Mutch (Matthew Fossum) of Brooklyn Park, MN, Natalie Pfaff (Adam) of La Crosse, Evan Shepard of Wauwatosa, WI and Daniel Shepard of Waukesha, WI; and his brother Jerome Shepard (Kristine) of Stoddard, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
