He is survived by: his wife Mary Rochester (Rhoades) of Onalaska; his daughters, Heather Hopkins (Rich) of Holmen and Pamela Erickson (Darrel) of Onalaska; his grandchildren, Jody Breeze, Tasha Vian Tepole, Alexia Hopkins, Chance Hopkins, Sara Oelfke, Megan Erickson, Adam Erickson, Jerry Erickson and Rebecca Erickson; his great grandchildren, Gavyn Breeze, Kyten Breeze, Mariaelena Tepole, Christian Tepole and Ezequiel Tepole; his brother Donald Axelsen (Kathy); his sister-in-law Margie Axelsen; his brother Leslie; his sister-in-law Joyce Rhoades; and also, Leslie and Linda Rhoades. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
