She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Long and Donna Long (Czapiewski). She is survived by: her husband Tom; her sons, Jamey Justin (Emma) and Zachary Justin (Hannah Peterson); her grandchild Henley; and her siblings, Lorna Thayer, Jared Long (Jane) of Batavia, NY and Jessica Long.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and can be made directly to Karen's family.
