Joyce E. Benusa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce E. Benusa of Onalaska, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Meistad (Scow) and Harry Meistad; and her brothers-in-law, George Glanzer, Jack Benusa, Gordon Schultz and Jerry Gleason.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Benusa; her children, Kathy Reuter (Mark) of Montrose, NY, Bill Benusa (Joy) of Oakmont, PA, Susan Yanckello (Bob) of Oviedo, FL, Tom Benusa (Lynn) of Wyomissing, PA and Jim Benusa (Charyce) of Powhatan, VA; her sisters, Arlyn Anthon (Mike Anthon), Marlys Schultz and Karen Gleason; and her sister-in-law LaVon Benusa.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services (907 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska, WI 54650). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home (907 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska, WI 54650).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mayo Clinic Hospice – La Crosse.
