We bid farewell to Janet H. W. Ring of Onalaska, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 94. Janet touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hauck and Hilder Hauck (Polly); her siblings, Margaret Matheson (Monte), Nancy Maguire (Jim) and Charles Hauck (Phyllis); her daughter Mary Ellen Brandau; and her pet Winni.
She is survived by: her sons, Duane W. Ring Jr. (Patti) of Wayzata, MN and David W. Ring (Denise) of Onalaska, WI.; her parents-in-law, Merriam and Gene Ring; her siblings-in-law, Colonel Richard Ring and Mina Ring; her pets, Dackery I, Luke and Boomer; her husband Duane Ring Sr.; her grandchildren, Marianne Bennett (Charlie), Carolyn Ring, Mariah Gordon (Kieran) and Scott Ring (Zoe); and her great grandchildren, Vivian, Franklin Bennett and Baby Gordon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (2503 Main St, La Crosse, WI 54601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at 328 Front St S #4023, La Crosse, WI 54601.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to First Congregational Church, Coulee Region Humane Society, Gundersen Medical Foundation, Family and Children's Center, or the Alzheimer's Association.
