He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Oswald and Laura Elizabeth Jarvinen (Tuomela); his parents-in-law, Peter Melvin and Virginia Piersma (Braam); his siblings, Theodore Charles Jarvinen, Laura Lea Pierkowski and Naomi Elizabeth Catching; and his nephew Steven Theodore Pierkowski.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his sisters, Ilona Rouda (Robert) of Roseville, MN and Sandra Holden (Martin) of Green Bay, WI; his sons, Aaron Jarvinen (Kelsey) and Andrew Jarvinen (Amanda) of Minneapolis, MN; and his grandchildren, Flynn and Ruby.
