He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlyn Schaitel and Erma Schaitel; his wife Donna; his stepchildren, Evie Mathison, Dale Steers, Donny and Mark Schaitel; and his siblings, Sheri and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Steve, Jeff, Randy, Robert, Neil and Teresa; his stepson James Hansen; his daughter-in-law Anne Steers; his siblings, Karen, Gerald, Dennis, Gary, Larry, Darrell and Danny; and his friend Pam. He is also survived by numerous grandkids and great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
