James Benjamin Halter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Benjamin Halter (Onalaska, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 12, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Halter and Esther Halter; his spouse Pamella Welch August; and his brother-in-law Doug Gruehn. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey (Tonya Harth) of The Dalles, OR and Paul Halter (Cindy) of La Crosse, WI; his granddaughters, Allison Halter of Princeton, NJ and Jessica Halter of Marquette, MI; his siblings, Rosemary Keiser (George) of Sedona, AZ, Virginia Krahn of Onalaska, WI and Dennis of Plymouth, WI; and his sister-in-law Jean Gruehn of Shorewood, WI. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
