She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gee and Laura Gee (Simonson); her husband Delbert A. Nelson; her son-in-law Ed Struznik; and her grandson Ed Struznik, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Greg Nelson of La Crosse, WI, Vicky Struznik (Ed) of Butte, MT and Valerie Nelson (Robert Smith) of West Salem; her grandchildren, Noah Nelson of Richmond, VA, Brooke (Wade), Bronson and Steven (Andi); her great grandchildren, Morgann, Brendan, Haden and Paris; and her siblings, Donna Dolesy (Fred), Carol Peasley (Pete), Laura Gonia and Fred Gee (Rainey). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Eastern Star or Hospice.
