He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J. Roob and Frances L. Roob (Hessel); his wife Louise Ann Skemp; his granddaughter Johanna Roob; and his siblings, Norma Henderson and Daniel Roob.
He is survived by: his children, John Roob (Bette) of Onalaska, Jane Koning (Ron) of San Marcos, CA and Dianne Wookey of La Crosse; his grandsons, Scott Roob (Rebecca) of La Crosse and Steven Roob (Alissa) of Racine, WI; his stepgrandchildren, Jon Field (Jodi), James Field (Teresa), Jennifer Amann (Peter) and Lia Koning; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Lucy, Hayden, Nathan, Carter, Adam, Abby, Connor, Izzy, Katie, Harper and Owen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
